Hands on surfing lesson along with an experienced New Zealand local surfer. Coaching instruction is given both in and out of the water and is designed to match fitness level and ability. Topics that we will cover during the lesson include:

  Getting to know the equipment

   Basic safety guidelines

  Surfing etiquette & terminology

  Weather & surf conditions

  Correct technique & stance

SURFING GUIDE

As a local to the Taranaki region, Alan has over 50 years of surfing experience on the coastline along the Surf 45 Highway, which features in excess of 30 quality surf breaks over a 60km coastline. His knowledge of the best surf spots will help you:

  Catch the best quality breaks on the day

   Find isolated waves without crowds

   Explore a variety of locations with transport provided

   Surf iconic off shore conditions along the West Coast due to N, E, to SW winds

WETSUIT HIRE	$20/day	Variety of sizes and options available depending on season including shorty and full suits.
SURF BOARD HIRE	$40/day	Board hire includes transport to and from desired surf destination.
PRIVATE LESSONS	$60/hour	To make the deal more attractive for you, we have an amazing price range with discounts for bulk bookings.
SURF 45 GUIDE	$60/hour	Includes transport and board hire, taking you to the best breaks of the day along Surf Highway 45.
SURF & ACCOMMODATION	TBD	We offer a number of surf & accommodation packages with the Keatz BnB as well as the main house for larger groups. Please contact us for availability & bookings.
