ABOUT US

 

Alan & Helen

Married couple in early 60's, fit and healthy, children left home. Well traveled. Helen loves gardening and is an excellent cook (home made meals can be supplied with prior arrangement). Alan loves beach, surfing, golf and wood craft.

Both love music a laugh and a good coffee ( lucky Oakura and New Plymouth have plenty of great barista's).

We spent 3 relaxing nights at the Keatz Bnb, and loved every minute of it. Brilliant hosts and a stunning property with mountain and ocean views. The bnb is well appointed, cozy, and has a great shower. The fridge was fully stocked with breakfast essentials and Helen gave us some fresh veggies from her garden which was very thoughtful. Alan gave us an excellent surf lesson, couldn't have asked for a better instructor. Cant say enough great things about the hosts, definitely book if you get the chance!

Alan was an excellent host and had time to take my daughter out for a surf on afternoon. She was rapt to achieve so much and I got some great movies of her riding the waves in. Thanks Alan for a memorable experience. Lovely accommodation and it was easy to find the main building. Nightlife on the west coast near the see is amazing and wild. Will come again next year with friends.
